MARKETFAIR HOSTS RENOVATION CELEBRATION

 Three-day event celebrates completion of renovation and addition of new tenants

PRINCETON, NJ, NOVEMBER 7, 2013 – MarketFair Mall announced today it will host be hosting a multi-day, mall-wide Renovation Celebration, Thursday, November 14 through Sunday, November 17. The events will celebrate the completion of renovation work on the north end of the mall and the opening of several new shops and restaurants at MarketFair.

“We are incredibly proud of the progress this center has seen over the last few years with the addition of an incredible slate of new and exciting tenants,” said John-david Franklin, Senior Vice Preside of Leasing for Madison Marquette Retail Services (MMRS), which manages the mall. “This event allows us to celebrate the new mall improvements, show appreciation for our new and existing tenants and to share our excitement with the surrounding community.”

Renovation Celebration events include:

Thursday, November 14 from 1-3 pm: A ribbon cutting ceremony will include West Windsor Mayor Shing-Fu Hsueh, as well as representatives from West Windsor Township, TIAA-CREF, Madison Marquette Retail Services and several of MarketFair’s retailers. Food and drinks will be provided by House of Cupcakes and Corner Bakery. Additionally, there will be a musical performance by West Windsor High School South.

Friday, November 15from 5-9 pm: There will be a mall-wide fashion show, Tarot Card readings, and store specials and giveaways. The first 150 registered attendees will receive swag bags.

Saturday, November 16from 1 -3 pm: Local radio station 94.5 PST will be on location at MarketFair’s Center Court. Five attendees at Saturday’s event, along with 94  prequalified listeners, will be entered into PST’s contest for the chance to win Justin Timberlake concert tickets and a trip to Las Vegas to see the show.

Sunday, November 17from 12-3 pm: The mall will host the Philadelphia Zoo on Wheels in the Center Court, followed by arts and crafts with the West Windsor Art Council, music by Singalong Pete and a balloon animal artist.
