Bill Sudow is Madison Marquette’s Chief Compliance Officer and Counsel. Mr. Sudow is an experienced transactional attorney, having represented national and international clients in complex financial and real estate transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions and dispositions, complex development projects, leasing, secured and unsecured financings, private equity investments and general business transactions.
Prior to joining Madison Marquette, Mr. Sudow was a Partner of Sidley Austin LLP, a prominent international law firm, where he headed its Washington, D.C., real estate practice.
Mr. Sudow is a member of the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, appointed by the Governor of Virginia, and chairs the Authority’s Risk Management Committee. Mr. Sudow is a Trustee of the Federal City Council where he is a member of the Executive Committee and Co-Chair’s its Transportation Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Design and Architecture Committee of the National China Garden Foundation and is a Past President and current member of the Board of Directors of the McLean Revitalization Corporation.
Mr. Sudow received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
