New restaurants opening in popular shopping center

Mercato to have three new eateries, undergoing several upgrades in advance of its 10-year anniversary.

NAPLES — Mercato, a lifestyle and shopping center in north Naples, has several scheduled openings in December and in early 2019, including three new dining establishments.

 


Set to open in December is The Hampton Social, serving seasonally inspired coastal cuisine in a “Hamptons-style” atmosphere. It marks the first East Coast location of the restaurant that originated in Chicago.

Scheduled to open in 2019 are Rocco’s Tacos and Tequila Bar and TooJay’s Deli. Rocco’s Tacos offers Mexican dining with upbeat music and more than 300 varieties of tequila. TooJay’s Deli brings New York City-inspired hearty portions of comfort foods, signature breakfast items and sandwiches as well as scratch-made soups, salads and baked goods.

Also opening in December is CycleBar, an indoor cycling experience offering classes, private events and themed rides with music delivered through a state-of-the-art sound and video theatre.

Mercato, located just north of Vanderbilt Beach Road on U.S. 41, is investing in a new common area enhancements in advance of its upcoming 10-year anniversary. They include new outdoor seating, an improved event lawn, complimentary center-wide Wi-Fi, landscape speakers, new benches, three new selfie walls, and a series of large-scale cantilevered umbrellas in valet area, all expected to be completed in December. The center is managed and leased by Madison Marquette.
