Growth Leads to Regional Office Move and Expansion

BOCA RATON, FL, DECEMBER 31, 2012 – Madison Marquette Retail Services (MMRS) today announced it will be relocating its Florida office in conjunction with a significant expansion in staff and the company’s Florida portfolio. In its new space, MMRS will occupy 3,500 square feet, which is more than double the square footage currently occupied in its Boca Raton office.

“Over the last year, MMRS has had incredible growth in the Florida market and we have continued to expand on our already impressive Florida team accordingly,” said Tom Gilmore, Executive Vice President of MMRS. “We are thrilled to see our strong presence in Florida continue to grow.”

As part of this expansion, MMRS announced the appointment of Kim Ellis as Marketing Manager for the region. Ellis brings more than 17 years of professional marketing experience with a diverse background in commercial real estate marketing. She joins a distinguished team headed by Senior Vice President of Leasing and ICSC State Director for Florida Chuck Taylor, and including Leasing Representatives Tad Templeton, Nikki Traff and Dana Dowsett.

The Florida team recently added 900,000 square feet to its portfolio with a new leasing assignment from real estate investment trust company Equity One to handle all leasing responsibilities and out-parcel sales for eleven grocery-anchored centers in the Tampa Bay metro area. With this new assignment, MMRS’ Florida portfolio now encompasses more than 3.5 million square feet across 20 properties.

The office will be relocated to 100 S.E. 3rd Avenue, Suite 2208 in Fort Lauderdale, beginning in early January 2013.
