Mall has seen flurry of leasing activity, with seven new retailers joining the popular center
Glen Eagle Square today announced the forthcoming opening of three new retailers, growth reflecting the properties dynamic retail and dining mix which has added seven new merchants this year alone.
The newly-announced openings include Gap, Inc.’s national women’s athletic wear brand Athleta and specialty pet food and accessory retailer Pet Valu, both opening in November. Athleta will occupy 5,100 square feet, with Pet Valu occupying 3,200 square feet. Additionally, the center has signed Not Your Average Joes, a casual American-style restaurant that will occupy more than 7,200 square feet and is slated to open in Spring 2014.

Since March 2013 the center has welcomed four additional new tenants including national retailers Crazy 8 (2,240 square feet), Francesca’s (1,370 square feet) and Maidenform (1,674 square feet), as well as locally-based home décor purveyor Calico Corners, which is now occupying 3,900 square feet.
“The addition of so many prominent national and hugely popular local retailers over the last several months has cemented Glen Eagle Square’s place as a premier shopping and dining destination in the region,” said John-david W. Glen Eagle Square is a 152,000 square foot open-air specialty center in the affluent trade area of Chadds Ford, Pa. The center features leading retailers including Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, Jos. A. Banks and Trail Creek Outfitters, as well as Whole Foods, Outback Steakhouse and Starbucks Coffee.
