PRINCETON, NJ, SEPTEMBER 19, 2013 – MarketFair Mall today announced that Barnes & Noble has officially opened, now located in the newly reconstructed North End of the popular Princeton mall. The national bookseller hosted its grand opening on Wednesday, September 18 as well as a special preview event on September 17, for which a portion of the proceeds were donated to The Corner House Foundation. Corner House is a Princeton-area non-profit counseling center focused on addressing substance abuse and family crisis issues.
“MarketFair has seen incredible growth and undergone tremendous improvements over the last few years, and we are excited to see one of our anchor tenants open its beautiful new location in our just-renovated section of the mall,” said Richard Kenwood, General Manager of MarketFair.
Since the start of 2012, MarketFair has seen the opening of Banana Republic, Bobby’s Burger Palace, Olly Shoes, Qdoba Mexican Grill and West Elm. Additional forthcoming openings include Corner Bakery Café in Fall 2013, Season’s 52 and an expanded Eastern Mountain Sports in 2014, and Bahama Breeze in early 2015.

Barnes & Noble now occupies 27,979 square feet of space in its new location. It will operate Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
