"Peter is an extraordinary real estate professional with a reputation for excellence and vision," said Amer Hammour, Chairman of Madison Marquette. "His deep knowledge and experience will contribute broadly to our existing and expanding development portfolio on the East Coast – and, of course, will help further enhance The Wharf and Asbury Park as two of the nation's benchmarks in mixed-use urban waterfronts," Mr. Hammour added.
"Over the past two decades, Peter has brought outstanding real estate investment skill and innovative development perspectives to his work," said Eric Hohmann, President of Madison Marquette. "We are pleased that his special insights with regard to high-rise construction of both office and residential will further strengthen and enrich our overall growth objectives on the East Coast," Mr. Hohmann added.
Prior to joining Madison Marquette, Mr. Cole served as Fisher Brothers' Regional Managing Director and lead efforts to open a Washington office for the New York-based private institutional owner/developer. He also was a Senior Managing Director for The Clarett Group overseeing Mid-Atlantic activity in acquiring and developing residential, office and mixed-use projects in New York, Los Angeles and Washington D.C. During his lengthy career, Mr. Cole has also held executive positions with Trammell Crow and Tishman Speyer.
"I am delighted to be joining Madison Marquette as they consolidate and expand their important property portfolio in key urban gateway markets," Mr. Cole stated. "And I am especially excited to be part of The Wharf team – a project that is unique in the nation for its transformative scale and community-building attributes," Mr. Cole added.
Mr. Cole earned a Bachelor's degree from Connecticut College and a Master's Degree in Real Estate Investment from New York University. He is a Member of the Economic Club of Washington, the Urban Land Institute, DC Building Industry Association and the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington.
