Madison Marquette Retail Services announced that the regional restaurant Silver Diner has opened its 15th location at the suburban Maryland center. Silver Diner will occupy 5,800 square feet of a newly built, stand-alone space in the center’s expanded segment of the property, and is the first location in Southern Maryland.
Silver Diner’s Waldorf location will feature a similar atmosphere to other Silver Diner restaurants with locally sourced menus and table-top jukeboxes, but will also showcase an expanded bar with hand-crafted cocktails, local beers and wines. Silver Diner’s Executive Chef Ype Von Hengst ensures that ingredients served in his restaurants are fresh, local and hormone free. Sourcing all natural meats and free-range chickens, Chef Ype keeps menu items customer focused where service and taste are paramount. The restaurant is celebrating 25 years since the company opened their first diner in Rockville, Maryland.
