The Village at Gulfstream Park, one of South Florida’s best-known outdoor shopping, dining, office and entertainment destinations (www.thevillageatgulfstreampark.com), today announced the addition of three new ongoing events: “Tunes on Tuesday,” “Latin Nights,” and “Kids Night Out.” The events, which will take place every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evening in the shopping center’s Champions Plaza, are free of charge and open to the public.
Tunes On Tuesday
Tunes on Tuesday is a weekly event taking place every Tuesday night starting February 19th. The event will feature a variety of musical entertainers, including numerous solo and duo acts, with musical styles from island/steel drums to folk music to sounds reminiscent of legendary pop-music piano-based favorites like Elton John and John Legend. Performances will take place at Champions Plaza from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs. The events are free and open to the public; food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Latin Nights are evenings filled with hot salsa dura beats that make dancers jump out of their seats. With music by DJ Jorge Charun, a salsa aficionado who has headlined in some of the most popular salsa clubs in Miami, these events – originally twice monthly at the center – have become so popular that The Village at Gulfstream Park is now making them a weekly occurrence. The evening begins with dance instruction at Champions Plaza from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., then spicy Latin dancing from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Each Thursday’s event, hosted by Charun and the Miami Salsa Scene, is open to the public and free of charge.
Kids Night Out
Kids Night Out is a weekly event dedicated to wholesome family fun. Each Friday evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., the center will host a new family-friendly entertainment theme from wild animals to clowning around, dance parties, game nights, magic shows and more. Each Kids Night Out event takes place at Champions Plaza and is free and open to the public. Minor children must be accompanied by an adult.
“We are very pleased to be able to offer such a wide variety of events and entertainment options at The Village at Gulfstream Park,” says Andrea Connolly, Director of Marketing for the center. “The new lineup of weekly events builds on the popularity of past events and adds to our already stellar selection of entertainment options.
